Supporters like you loved learning about how the Dallas Animal Services (DAS) Kitten Nursery rescued nearly 4,000 kittens in 2019! When we asked you to step up and make an even bigger impact on the Kitten Nursery, you generously did. Compassionate donors like you gave over $2,300 on Giving Tuesday 2019 in order to bring the National Kitten Coalition’s life-saving training to DAS staff and kitten fosters.
Your generous donations came to life when the National Kitten Coalition trainers arrived at DAS on March 2nd, 2020! The all-day educational experience enabled DAS staff and kitten fosters to learn even more about hands-on kitten care, feeding, and housing; managing common illnesses and treatments; and other life-saving information. With this education and expertise, DAS hopes to increase the Kitten Nursery’s “save rate” for this year’s kitten season!
