Specific Bequest -- With a specific bequest, you may stipulate that a certain percentage of your estate, a certain dollar amount, or particular assets be given to Friends of Dallas Animal Services. Examples specific bequest language include:
"I give $______ to Friends of Dallas Animal Services, a nonprofit corporation located at 2911 Turtle Creek Blvd.; Suite 300, Dallas, TX 75219, Federal Tax ID 83-4099633, for its general purposes."

Residuary Bequest -- With a residuary bequest, you may state that all, or a portion, of your estate be given to Friends of Dallas Animal Services after specific gifts are distributed to other beneficiaries. Examples residual bequest language may include:
"I give all of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate to Friends of Dallas Animal Services, a nonprofit corporation located at 2911 Turtle Creek Blvd.; Suite 300, Dallas, TX 75219, Federal Tax ID 83-4099633, for its general purposes."
